What to do when a child gets foot odor

Foot odor, i.e. tinea pedis, can be treated with general treatment, local and systemic medication. 1. General treatment: pay attention to keep the affected area hygienic, clean and dry, wear loose and comfortable shoes and socks, change and wash them in time, and avoid sharing shoes and socks, towels and bath tubs with others. 2. Drug treatment: (1) Local drug therapy: commonly used drugs include imidazole drugs such as clotrimazole, miconazole, ketoconazole; propylene amine drugs such as terbinafine and butenafine; and other drugs such as amorphophine and cycloheximide. (2) Systemic therapy: mainly applicable to those with poor local treatment effect, recurrent attacks and large skin lesions. Commonly used drugs include terbinafine, itraconazole and so on. The use of specific drugs should be under the guidance of the doctor. If there is any discomfort, it is recommended to consult a doctor in time for diagnosis and treatment.
