What is the pain in the rib cage under the left armpit in women?

There are two diseases to consider in women with left axillary rib pain. 1. intercostal neuralgia; and 2. chondromalacia. There is a nerve distribution at the lower edge of each rib called intercostal nerve, and intercostal neuralgia occurs when stimulated by strain injury and aseptic inflammation, which manifests as rib pain. In addition to this, differential diagnosis should be made, and the hospital should be improved to exclude breast, pleural and lung diseases themselves, and there are pleural adhesions that can also manifest as intercostal pain, and intercostal neuralgia can be diagnosed by excluding these diseases.
