Alzheimer’s magnetic resonance presentation

Alzheimer’s disease is also known clinically as Alzheimer’s disease. For the MRI presentation of Alzheimer’s disease, there are slight differences in the MRI presentation of patients with mild, moderate and severe Alzheimer’s disease. In patients with mild Alzheimer’s disease, MRI reveals mild atrophy in the temporal lobe and hippocampus, while atrophy in other lobes of the brain is not significant. In patients with moderate Alzheimer’s disease, atrophy of the entire brain tissue can be seen, with temporal lobe and hippocampus atrophy being relatively severe. In patients with severe Alzheimer’s disease, lobe atrophy is very obvious, with temporal lobe and hippocampus atrophy being more pronounced. MRI of Alzheimer’s disease can be used as a diagnostic aid, but to confirm the diagnosis, the patient has to be evaluated according to the psychoneurological scale, and treatment can include acetylcholinesterase inhibitors and symptomatic support.
