The growth and metabolism of normal cells in human body are strictly controlled by the body. When normal cells lose control for some reasons and continue to grow and proliferate, they are called abnormal tumor cells. Tumors are divided into benign and malignant, benign tumors are basic to life, benign tumors are not life threatening, malignant tumors will destroy tissues and organs, can metastasize to other parts and often endanger life. The most common of malignant tumors is cancer, and malignant epithelial-derived tumors that occur in the breast area are called breast cancer. Breast cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors in women. In China, on average, one woman dies from breast cancer every 12 minutes, and about 5-6 out of every 10,000 women in urban areas develop breast cancer.
