Tumor on the foot is a very common clinical condition. Generally speaking, according to the benignity and malignancy of the tumor, its size and the level of invasion, the treatment methods also differ. For superficial benign small tumors, complete excision of the tumor can be performed under local anesthesia, and the incision is closed in one stage. For larger benign lesions, the surgical excision may cause greater tension in the incision, and the incision cannot be closed in one stage, so the second stage of implant treatment is needed. For tumor lesions with deeper invasion and larger volume, if the tumor cannot be removed at once, local radiotherapy and chemotherapy are needed first, and then surgery can be performed after the tumor volume is reduced. For malignant tumors that invade the muscular layer or periosteum, they are often accompanied by bone destruction and may need to be treated by amputation.
