A high-density nodule is seen in liver S5 within the scanning range, and it is considered that liver calcification, intrahepatic bile duct stones, and liver malignancy may exist in liver S5 segment. 1. Hepatic calcification: due to previous liver inflammation or other lesions in the S5 segment of the liver, calcification foci have appeared after recovery from liver damage, which can be manifested as high-density nodules on ultrasound. Calcification of the liver generally does not require special treatment, attention to ultrasound review of the growth of liver calcification. 2. Intrahepatic bile duct stones: if high density nodules are found in the liver, it is considered that there may be intrahepatic bile duct stones, pay attention to observing the size of the nodules, whether there is obvious acoustic shadow at the back of the nodules, and combine with whether the patient has clinical symptoms such as abdominal pain, etc., to evaluate and take the next step in the treatment plan. 3. Liver malignant tumor: when high density nodules are found, it is also necessary to rule out the existence of liver malignant tumor, which needs to be combined with alpha-fetoprotein, enhanced CT, and even puncture examination to confirm the diagnosis. If you find high density nodules in the liver, it is recommended to consult a regular hospital for a clear diagnosis and active treatment and management.
