Functions of the left and right hemispheres

The functions of the left hemisphere and the right hemisphere of the human body are not exactly the same. In most cases, the left hemisphere is the dominant hemisphere, with advantages in language, integrated thinking skills, and numerical skills. The right hemisphere, on the other hand, is mostly nondominant and is dominant in areas such as music, art, and visual memory. Many of the body’s major functional areas are found in the left hemisphere. For example, the human body’s writing center is located in the left hemisphere of the middle frontal gyrus, the language center is located in the left hemisphere of the lower frontal gyrus, and the use of the center is located in the left hemisphere of the supramarginal gyrus. Of course, there are also a small number of right-handed people and 50% of left-handed people whose dominant hemisphere is on the right side, and the left and right cerebral hemispheres of this group function in the opposite way to the above situation.
