How to distinguish between lymph and parotid gland

Lymph nodes are organs where lymphocytes settle and immune response takes place. The main difference between lymph nodes and parotid glands refers to the submandibular lymph nodes, which are on both sides. The parotid gland is generally located at the angle of the jaw near the earlobe, while the submandibular lymph nodes are enlarged near the jaw joint. Lymph nodes are divided into superficial and deep lymph nodes, and the normal size of lymph nodes is <0.5cm, which should not be felt normally. The parotid gland is one of the three major salivary glands, the sublingual, submandibular and parotid glands. The largest pair of salivary glands is the parotid gland. Therefore, they are usually found together near the earlobe part, on both sides of the cheek, and enlarged near the earlobe part, while the enlarged lymph nodes are enlarged near the jaw joint part, so they can be distinguished from the parts.
