How to treat basal cell carcinoma of the face

Facial basal cell carcinoma can be treated by surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy. 1. Surgery: Facial basal cell carcinoma is a continuous and invasive tumor, if found, the cell tumor should be removed in time, and the scope of removal is usually larger. After excision, repair and implantation surgery can effectively control the disease. 2. Radiation therapy: Facial basal cell carcinoma is sensitive to radiation and can be treated with radiation therapy with different dosages for different lesion sizes, which usually will not leave scar. 3. Chemotherapy: Basal cell carcinoma of the face generally does not advocate systemic chemotherapy, but can be treated by applying local anticancer drugs, such as 5-fluorouracil ointment, as prescribed by doctors. It is suggested that patients with facial basal cell carcinoma should go to hospital for consultation in time and standardize the treatment under doctors’ guidance.
