How many days does it take to quit breastfeeding?

A woman weaning her baby will usually be distended for about 3-7 days. If the woman has too much milk or if she has her own fire, the distention may last longer. The severity of the distention varies from woman to woman because each woman’s body condition is different and so is the amount of milk produced. If a woman has too little milk, it is easier to wean her with a light diet and reduce the intake of protein or fatty foods, and the duration of distention is relatively short. If the mother has more milk and likes to eat foods with high protein content, the weaning process may not be easy and the number of days of bloating will be relatively long. It is recommended to eat more leeks or drink malt water during the weaning period, which is not only good for the baby to quit breastfeeding, but also can relieve the distention.
