What’s wrong with sore leg muscles and tendons?

Soreness of leg muscles and tendons is mostly seen in the following three cases: First, patients have carried out longer distance walking before the soreness, or the muscles of legs have been stimulated by wind and cold, which leads to the increase of local lactic acid, which is difficult to be metabolized in a short period of time, and causes the soreness of muscles and tendons of legs. Secondly, it is seen in patients with varicose veins or thromboembolic vasculitis, especially in elderly patients who have been smoking for a long time, due to the poor blood supply of the lower limb arteries, the blood supply to the lower limbs is insufficient for a short period of time leading to soreness. Thirdly, it is seen in patients with lumbar disc herniation and lumbar spinal stenosis, who cannot walk for long distance, and have soreness and pain in legs after short distance walking, and need to sit and rest. The presence of muscle soreness and tendon pain requires careful identification of the cause. If it is a herniated disc and spinal stenosis, it is best to go to the spinal surgery department. If it is a vascular surgery problem, further management is required in vascular surgery.
