Skin melanoma is recommended to require surgical excision if the lesion is small in extent and the thickness and infiltration depth of the tumor is small, if it is more serious it can be removed by doing comprehensive treatment. Melanoma is usually produced due to the malignant transformation of melanocytes, when the melanoma lesion range is less than 5 cm, and the depth of tumor infiltration and thickness is less than 1 cm, surgery can be done to remove the whole tissue within 0.5~1 cm of the lesion and its surroundings, and at the same time, pathology examination should be done. If the scope of the lesion is large and metastasis occurs, it is clinically impossible to do radical surgery, and radiation therapy or immunotherapy or targeted therapy can be used.
