Urine pH is determined by the urine PH value in the urine routine. For gout patients, it is recommended to control the urine PH value at 6.2-6.9 to facilitate the excretion of uric acid. For patients with urinary PH less than 6.2, it is recommended to use baking soda tablets 1-2 tablets 3 times a day depending on the patient’s condition. However, it is not recommended for patients with hypertension and heart failure, and the urine PH level should be rechecked after 2 weeks. If the urine PH is greater than 7.0, it is recommended to discontinue the baking soda tablets. It is sufficient to monitor the urine PH level for about 2 weeks to recheck the urine routine and adjust the dose of baking soda according to the result.
