Listen to me to tell you. The sperm retrieval requires the following 4 steps: 1. Preparation before the examination In order to ensure the accuracy of the test results, the semen examination must be abstinent for 3-7 days before. If the abstinence time is too short (less than 48 hours) or too long (more than 7 days), semen should not be examined. If the abstinence time is more than 7 days, semen should be discharged and come back for semen examination within 3-7 days. 2. Semen collection Semen should be collected by masturbation, not by condom or interruption of intercourse with in vitro semen. When collecting semen, concentrate on making the semen in your body ejaculate as completely as possible. If the ejaculation is not smooth enough (not enough sexual excitement), it will result in less semen being retained than the actual semen volume, and if the semen volume is not close to the real level of the detector, it will seriously affect the accuracy of the test results. 3.Collection Semen specimens should be collected completely in the designated container, and no semen should be left out, otherwise the accuracy of the test results will be affected. 4.Special reminder Semen collection should be performed in the examination institution, and semen should be sent to the laboratory immediately after ejaculation for a maximum of 5 minutes, and attention should be paid to heat preservation (20-40℃) during the transportation of semen specimens when it is cold.
