Follicular eruptions can occur at all ages and are mainly concentrated in adolescence, with some rashes only becoming visible or peaking as we enter puberty and showing signs of remission as we get older. The rash caused by Erysipelas hair is at its peak at the age of 10 and between 40 and 60 years. The age distribution of the onset of follicular eruptions is therefore also related to the specific disease causing the condition.
