What are the health education prescriptions for chronic cough?

  I. How is chronic cough diagnosed?  A cough that lasts longer than 8 weeks without obvious evidence of lung disease becomes a chronic cough. Coughs are usually divided into 3 categories according to their duration: acute cough, subacute cough and chronic cough. Acute cough lasts <3 weeks, subacute cough 3-8 weeks, and chronic cough ≥8 weeks.  II. The advantages of Chinese medicine treatment can alleviate symptoms, reduce the adverse effects of western medicine, improve the quality of life and prolong survival.  1. Chinese medicine treatment (1) Treatment of phlegm-heat stagnant lung: clear heat and purge the lung, expel phlegm and stop cough.  (2) Treatment of phlegm-dampness in the lung: strengthening the spleen and nourishing the lung, drying dampness and resolving phlegm.  (3) Treatment of phlegm reversing upward flow of phlegm and Qi: resolving phlegm and lowering reversal, promoting the lung to stop cough.  2.Acupuncture and moxibustion: choose Tiantu, Futu, Lung Yu and Taiyuan points, and the technique is based on flat tonifying and diarrhea, with small twisting.  3.Patching therapy: ephedra: pine: tooth soap = 2:1:1, boiled and concentrated into a paste, applied to the Tiandu point, 4-6 hours, once a day.
