Leukemia fever can be distinguished from general fever by fever type, clinical manifestation and etiology.
1. Fever type: leukemia patients’ fever manifests itself as an episodic fever; general fever has many fever types, which may appear in the morning and evening, persistent low fever, transient fever and so on.
2. Clinical manifestations: in addition to fever, leukemia patients may also have systemic symptoms such as pallor, dizziness, fatigue, skin and mucous membrane hemorrhage, etc.; general fever may have symptoms such as fever, chills, excessive sweating, nasal congestion, cough, and sore throat.
3. Etiology: leukemia is caused by infection due to abnormalities in the immune system, which causes fever; general fever is caused by bacterial and viral infections after the body has been cooled or exhausted.
Leukemia fever is different from general fever and should be distinguished.
