What’s that echo in the left ear?

Echo in the left ear may be caused by noise tinnitus, secretory otitis media and abnormal opening of the eustachian tube.
1. Noise tinnitus: Excessive external noise may shock the inner ear through the middle ear sound transmission structure, causing inner ear hair cell dysfunction and the phenomenon of echo after noise.
2. Secretory otitis media: This disease may be caused by pathogen infection, abnormal eustachian tube function, allergic reaction and other factors. When there is negative pressure in the middle ear and middle ear effusion, patients will feel hearing loss, tinnitus, ear stuffiness and other symptoms, the disease in the left side, can be manifested as the left ear echo.
3. Abnormal opening of the Eustachian tube: the exact cause of this disease is not completely clear. When the Eustachian tube is opened abnormally, its function of preventing sound is lost, and the sound of one’s own voice is transmitted into the middle ear directly through the nasopharynx and the Eustachian tube, which makes the patient feel that the voice of one’s own voice is strong, and sometimes there is also trembling, such as the echo-like sound.
There are many reasons for the echo in the left ear, and it is recommended that patients go to the hospital to find out the cause of the disease.
