Early signs of cancer

  1. Lumps: Lumps in any part of the body, such as breast, neck or abdominal lumps that do not disappear over time, especially those with poor mobility, unsmooth surface and rapid increase in size within a short period of time. Women who find redness of the skin of the breast, rash, internal lumps must go for examination. Non-lactating women with sunken nipples and often fluid flow should also be alerted. 2.Indigestion or bloating Long-term unexplained persistent indigestion or bloating may be a symptom of laryngeal cancer, esophageal cancer, stomach cancer, etc. Some women think bloating is common, but persistent swelling, pressure and pain in the abdomen, difficulty in eating or feeling of fullness and the above-mentioned symptoms persist for several weeks may be a sign of ovarian cancer. 3.Weight loss or wasting Without intentional strengthening of exercise, no obvious increase of exercise, no reduction of diet or intentional dieting, no massive diarrhea caused by infection, and unexplained weight loss or obvious wasting in a short period of time, it is necessary to consider whether there is pathological weight loss, i.e. weight loss caused by hyperthyroidism, diabetes, tumor and other diseases, in which case timely medical treatment should be sought first. Determine whether it is a sign caused by tumor. 4. Fever Unexplained fever may be a dangerous sign. Lymphoma, leukemia and other malignant tumors may show fever in the early stage. The American Cancer Society says that when cancer spreads to other organs in the body, it usually leads to an increase in body temperature. However, if you seek medical attention and careful screening, you should be able to quickly determine the cause of the fever and give the correct and effective related treatment. 5. Pain The cause of an inexplicable pain that occurs somewhere in the body and lasts for more than a week should be identified as soon as possible, because pain without any reason may be caused by cancer. For example, long-term abdominal pain is a symptom of colon cancer, chest pain may be caused by lung cancer, and soreness of bones may be a symptom of cancer metastasis. 6. Fatigue If a person finds it difficult to improve the feeling of fatigue no matter how much rest he or she takes, then he or she should go to the hospital immediately to check whether he or she is suffering from cancer. Generally speaking, fatigue is a sign that cancer has developed, but for some cancers such as leukemia, intestinal cancer and stomach cancer, fatigue may be felt at the early stage of development. Ordinary fatigue caused by excessive physical or mental labor and time will be relieved after a period of rest, which is obviously different from the fatigue caused by cancer. 7. Anemia Some cancer patients may show signs of anemia. The causes of cancer-related anemia are complex and may include acute and chronic bleeding, hemolysis, bone marrow infiltration of tumor cells or microorganisms, nutritional deficiency, genetic factors, renal dysfunction, and anemia due to chronic disease caused by cancer itself. 8. Ulcers Ulcers occurring in any part of the body, such as the tongue, cheek mucosa, skin, etc. that do not heal over time should be closely monitored. Chronic ulcer diseases such as mouth ulcers and stomach ulcers are very common, and many people often do not take them seriously, but in fact, chronic ulcers may become cancerous in the long run. Similarly, stomach ulcers are likely to lead to stomach cancer if they recur and the gastric mucosa is repeatedly stimulated by breakage.
