Symptoms of lung metastasis include symptoms of primary cancer, cough, chest pain and hoarseness caused by lung metastasis.
Many cancer diseases can occur lung metastasis through blood pathway, and the symptom manifestation is different according to the different parts of the primary cancer, for example, bowel cancer patients show symptoms such as abdominal pain, abdominal distension, vomiting, blood in stool, emaciation, etc. Oesophageal cancer shows symptoms such as dysphagia, pharyngeal pain, vomiting and so on, and breast cancer shows symptoms such as breast lump and nipple overflowing.
Lung metastases can cause respiratory symptoms such as coughing, coughing up blood, chest pain, shortness of breath after activity, chest tightness, breathlessness, dyspnea, etc. In some patients, lung metastases invade and oppress the nerves, causing symptoms such as hoarseness and choking on drinking water.
