Which is the location of the pharynx

The parts of the throat are the pharynx and the larynx, which are located at the junction of the nasal and laryngeal cavities, and the larynx, which is located below the pharynx and above the trachea.
The pharynx is located at the junction of the nasal and laryngeal cavities, in the anterior part of the body’s cervical spine. It is a funnel-shaped muscular tube, flattened anteriorly and posteriorly, and serves as a common passageway for the respiratory and digestive tracts. It is divided into nasopharynx, oropharynx and pharynx.
The nasopharynx is located behind the body’s nasal cavity and above the mouth. The oropharynx is the backward and downward continuation of the oral cavity and is known as the mesopharynx. The laryngopharynx is located below the oropharynx and is known as the hypopharynx.
The larynx is located below the laryngopharynx and above the trachea and is involved in breathing and producing sound. The larynx houses the vocal cords and controls pitch and volume. During eating, the epiglottis of the larynx closes over the vocal folds, covering the air passages through which the pharynx can travel and allowing food to pass smoothly into the esophagus.
If there are any uncomfortable symptoms such as pain, itchiness and foreign body sensation in the throat, you should go to a regular hospital in time to clarify the cause of the disease and take targeted treatment under the guidance of a professional doctor.
