Bacterial vaginitis needs to be treated with metronidazole, or clindamycin orally, and mycosis vaginitis needs to be treated with fluconazole or itraconazole. Vaginal medication is also different, mycosis vaginitis needs vaginal insertion of Dakinin suppositories, or clotrimazole suppositories for treatment, while bacterial vaginitis needs vaginal insertion of metronidazole suppositories for treatment.
