What is war trauma syndrome?

War Trauma Syndrome is a psychological disease caused by the double trauma of war on the physical and psychological aspects of soldiers during war. It creates an unforgettable psychological shadow on the patient, which manifests itself in anxiety, fear, depression and guilt, and is very likely to lead to suicide and violent behavior.

War trauma syndrome belongs to a kind of post-traumatic stress reaction, also called post-traumatic stress syndrome, post-traumatic stress disorder, and major blow aftermath. It refers to a person’s psychological state being severely dysfunctional after suffering and fighting against a major stressor that overwhelms him. It is usually life threatening, severe physical body injury, severe psychological duress, etc.

These psychological reaction phenomena are caused after being severely traumatized by the war, rather than the patient’s psychological state was originally problematic. Prompt medical treatment in a psychiatric-psychological department is required.
