Different oral chemotherapy drugs treat different diseases and therefore are taken for different periods of time. For example, if the oral drug is used to treat colorectal cancer, some patients need to take it for two weeks, one cycle every three weeks, and some patients need to take it for three weeks, one cycle every four weeks. If Siroda is combined with oxaliplatin, the typical duration of Siroda is two weeks. For patients with hematologic disorders, such as chronic granulocytic leukemia, some patients take the oral chemotherapy drug hydroxyurea, which is generally determined by the condition of the white blood cells, some patients need to take it for a long time, and some patients take one tablet of hydroxyurea every other day to maintain the white blood cells in the normal range. Different chemotherapy drugs, with different modes of action and mechanisms of action, are taken at different times.
