In fact, for patients with cerebral infarction, it is not necessary to have infusion therapy every year. Infusion therapy is a common phenomenon in China, and it is generally believed that patients with cerebral infarction need to take oral medication for a long time for secondary preventive treatment. If the patient has any discomfort during oral medication, or if the patient develops new symptoms, such as aggravation of limb weakness on the hemiplegic side or weakness and numbness of the limbs on the nonhemiplegic side, or if the patient develops dizziness, nausea, or vomiting, only then does the patient need to undergo sedation medication. At the same time, head CT should be reviewed to clarify whether it is cerebral infarction or not, and some patients with cerebral infarction may also have cerebral hemorrhage in the later stage.
