Is pneumonia without fever serious?

You can’t tell if pneumonia is serious by having a fever. Pneumonia is inflammation due to pathogenic microorganisms, physicochemical factors, immune damage, allergies, and medications that occurs in the terminal airways, alveoli, and interstitium. The common symptoms of pneumonia are cough, sputum, and dyspnea. Most patients also experience irregular fever and depression. The severity of pneumonia is largely based on the type of microorganism that is infected, the size of the infection, and whether the patient has an underlying primary disease. If the germs are resistant and multiple antibiotics are ineffective, then the pneumonia is severe even if the patient does not have a fever. Patients with underlying diseases, such as patients with fractures who have been bedridden for a long period of time, patients with cerebrovascular disease, and patients with immune system disorders tend to have more severe lung infections, and even though they do not have a fever, they should be vigilant, even if they go to a regular hospital for treatment.
