Qiwei Yuqi Pill may refer to Qiwei Duqi Pill, which is formulated with vinegar schizandra, cornelian cherry (prepared), poria, mudanpi, ripened rhizome, yam, and zedoary. Seven-flavored Du Qi Pill is effective in tonifying the kidneys and holding qi (treating kidney failure to hold qi by tonifying the kidneys), astringing semen and stopping ejaculation (consolidating semen and preventing spermatorrhea). It is used for wheezing (shortness of breath), chest tightness, prolonged cough, shortness of breath, dry throat, seminal emission, night sweating (abnormal sweating after going to sleep and stopping sweating after waking up), and frequent urination caused by failure of the kidneys to absorb Qi (dysfunction of the kidneys that prevents them from absorbing gas).
