Are Dokuroku Sangsang Pills and Dokuroku Sangsang Soup the same?

Duo Wu Zhi Sheng Pill is a proprietary Chinese medicine composed of Duo Wu, Morus alba, Radix Rehmanniae Praeparata, Radix Achyranthis Bidentatae, Cortex Poriae, Cinnamon, Fenghuang, Rhizoma Ligustici Chuanxiong, Radix et Rhizoma Ginseng, Glycyrrhiza Uralensis, Radix Angelicae Sinensis in Wine. Its function is to nourish the blood and relax the tendons, tonify the liver and kidney, and dispel wind and dampness. It is suitable for paralysis (joint pain, etc.) caused by wind, cold and damp obstruction, deficiency of liver and kidney, and insufficiency of qi and blood, such as unfavorable flexion and extension of the limbs, cold pain in the waist and knees.
It can dispel wind-dampness, relieve paralytic pain, benefit the liver and kidney, and tonify qi and blood. It is used for treating prolonged paralysis, deficiency of liver and kidney, and insufficiency of qi and blood. The difference between Dokwu Sangsang Pill and Dokwu Sangsang Soup: Dokwu Sangsang Pill is a pill, in which Codonopsis pilosula and Radix Rehmanniae Praeparata are used; Dokwu Sangsang Soup is a soup, in which Radix Panax Ginseng and Radix Rehmanniae Praeparata are used. The efficacy and main treatment of the two are more or less the same.
The adverse reactions and contraindications of DuoWuHangSheng Pill and DuoWuHangSheng Tang are not clear. The drugs should be used under medical supervision.
