Yueju Boho Pill is composed of gardenia, Liushenqu, Atractylodes macrocephala, aconite, Rhizoma Ligustici, Rhizoma Ligustici Chuanxiong, Mucuna pruriens and betel nut. It has the efficacy of appetizing and eliminating food, soothing the liver and relieving depression. It is used for symptoms such as stagnation of qi, distension and pain in the chest and abdomen, abdominal distension and fullness after eating, emptiness in the stomach with burning sensation, or seemingly hunger, indigestion, and so on.
Yue Ju Wan is composed of Rhizoma Ligustici Chuanxiong, Gardenia jasminoides, Fragrance, Cangzhu, and Liu Shen Qu. It has the efficacy of broadening the middle and removing fullness, regulating qi and relieving depression. It is used for chest and epigastric distension, belching (burping), acid swallowing (swallowing the acid in the stomach that goes up to the oropharynx), abdominal distension, and dietary stagnation.
Adverse reactions to the above drugs are not clear. It is contraindicated for those who are allergic to this product.
Yueju Boho Pills and Yueju Pills are different in efficacy and main treatment, they cannot replace each other, and should be used reasonably after doctor’s diagnosis.
