What is urothelial cancer

Urethral cancer generally refers to urethral epithelial tumor, often secondary to bladder tumor, ureteral tumor or renal pelvis metastatic epithelial cancer, but generally speaking, primary urethral cancer is less common. The common clinical symptoms of urethral cancer are urethral obstruction, urinary extravasation, periurethral abscess, urethral fistula, and urethral discharge. Some patients may have clinical symptoms such as hematuria of the naked eye, hematosperm and pain. Female urethral cancer is usually seen in older women, and the common clinical symptoms are bleeding and hematuria of the naked eye, and may be accompanied by other clinical symptoms, such as frequent urination, painful urination, burning sensation of urination, difficulty in urination, painful intercourse, etc. If the tumor becomes necrotic, yellow or bloody discharge from urethra or vagina may be seen.
