Diffuse infiltration of urethra is one of the symptoms of urethral cancer. Its early symptoms are usually seen as urethral obstruction, swelling, periurethral abscess, extravasation, urethral fistula and urethral discharge, and some patients have pain, hematuria or hematosperm. Female urethral cancer is mostly seen in older women. The common symptoms are urethral bleeding and hematuria. Other symptoms include frequent urination, painful urination, burning sensation of urination, difficulty in urination or painful intercourse, and local lumps can be seen or palpated. If the tumor is necrotic, ulcerated or infected, yellow or bloody foul-smelling discharge from the urethra or vagina may be seen. Late symptoms include weight loss, pelvic pain, periurethral abscess, urinary incontinence, urethrovaginal fistula or urinary retention. The common symptoms of diffuse urethral infiltration caused by female urethral cancer are as follows: 1. Urethral bleeding is the main symptom. Difficulty in urination may occur if the tumor obstructs the urethra. 2. Local mass can be felt when the tumor is large. Female urethral cancer mostly grows out of the body along the urethral orifice. 3.Late stage may show cachexia such as urinary leakage, emaciation and anemia.
