Generally, urinary tract injuries found during surgery or within 24h after surgery should be operated immediately, but the development of urinary fistula within a few days or weeks after surgery because of obvious edema and inflammation, immediate surgery is difficult, should be delayed for 3 months before repair surgery. Radiation injury such as radiotherapy-induced urogenital fistula, because the size of the fistula often changes, it should be stopped 6-12 months after radiotherapy before repair. In addition, in the tumor or radiotherapy-induced fistula should not be repaired before the tumor is cured; urethral fistula combined with bladder stones should be dealt with first bladder stones, and stones can not be removed through the fistula; tuberculosis urethral fistula need to be preceded by anti-tuberculosis treatment, tuberculosis inflammation during the forbidden repair; bladder, vagina inflammation during the inflammation of the tissues should not be surgical treatment due to inflammation and edema; patients of childbearing age, the operation is preferred in the postmenstrual period of 1 week.
