What to do if you have 20 degrees of scoliosis

Scoliosis 20° can be followed and observed, if the scoliosis is still progressing, it can be treated with braces, if the scoliosis is obvious, then surgery should be considered.
Follow-up observation: Scoliosis 20° is a mild scoliosis deformity, which usually causes few clinical symptoms, so it can be followed up for observation. If the scoliosis progresses and the angle of progression is >5° per year during the follow-up period, a brace should be worn for at least 20-22 hours per day. The brace is reviewed at 1-month intervals to evaluate scoliosis progression and treatment.
If further scoliosis progression is still present during brace treatment, treatment has failed and surgical treatment needs to be considered. Surgical options include scoliosis correction and spinal fusion.
Treatment for scoliosis of 20° is recommended to go to a hospital for regular treatment of the specific scoliosis.
