How to take azithromycin dispersible tablets

Azithromycin dispersible tablets can be dissolved in water, mixed and drunk, or swallowed whole. For example, for the treatment of sexually transmitted diseases caused by Chlamydia trachomatis or Haemophilus ducreyi, or sensitive gonococci, it is necessary to take a single oral dose of 1 g of Azithromycin dispersible tablets, i.e., dissolve 1 g of Azithromycin dispersible tablets in water and drink it at once. For other infections, a total dose of 1.5g is usually taken once a day for 3 days, 0.5g per dose. Of course, you can also choose to take 0.5g on the first day and 0.25g per day from the second day to the fifth day. This is mainly used for people with a sensitive gastrointestinal tract, who experience significant stomach pain and diarrhea when taking azithromycin, and can choose a five-day dosing regimen. If the gastrointestinal tract functions better and is more skinny, you can choose a three-day dosing regimen, which is 500mg per day.
