How to check for urinary tuberculosis

Laboratory tests include: 1. Laboratory tests, blood sampling for increased sedimentation rate greater than 20 mm/h, positive results of combined T-cell test or positive results of PPD test are highly suspicious of the presence of tuberculosis in the body. 2. Urine specimens are taken for urine antacid staining, and if antacid bacilli are found, the presence of urinary tract tuberculosis is indicated. 3. CT examination of the urinary tract reveals local calcification or thickening of the ureteral pelvis and exudate, or fluid retention in the kidney, self-segregation of the kidney, or contracture of the bladder, all of which can be presumed to have urinary tract tuberculosis. 4. If this is the case, the patient may have urological tuberculosis.
