Danqi Granules is composed of Radix Rehmanniae Praeparata, Oyster, Fructus Lycii, Poria, Epimedium, Rhizoma Coptidis, Rhizoma Dioscoreae and Cornu Cervi Pantotrichum, which is effective in tonifying the kidneys and strengthening the bones and is mainly used in the treatment of osteoporosis with deficiency of yin in the liver and kidneys, in which the patient usually manifests with soreness of the lower back and knees (the sensation of aching and weakness of the lumbar and knee regions), generalized bone pain or pain in the lumbar and spinal regions, dizziness, tinnitus, and weakness of the lower limbs.
