1. Make a decision to get rid of loneliness Recent psychoanalytic theories suggest that mentalizing is an attitude and that the psychological maturity of each person depends on mentalizing. In the process of psychoanalysis, the psychotherapist has to maintain the attitude of mentalization at all times. Mentalization is defined in the Oxford Dictionary as the giving of a mental character or mental cultivation to something. It is the ability of an individual to show awareness, to recognize the emotional feelings of the self and others, and to further develop motives, intentions, and beliefs. This is a psychoanalytic concept. It is only in the last thirty years that it has been widely used in psychoanalytic therapy. 2. Everything unfolds by decision Winnicott, in 1971, once proposed the role of the mother’s mirror in the development of the mentalized sense of self. He argued that the psychological self develops by virtue of a perceptual capacity concerning how one perceives to think and feel about himself within others. In other words, the psyche does not just develop from within, nor is it just something internal to the individual’s brain, but is to a large extent closely related to the outside and develops by virtue of the outside. That is, infants find themselves in the psyche of their caregivers, and thus mentalization depends on the mentalization of the caregiver. In the 1990s, British psychoanalyst Perter Fonagy and his group developed the concept of mentalizing. Securely attached individuals are able to successfully develop the ability to mentalize, whereas insecurely attached individuals are less likely to develop this ability, and individuals who do not mentalize will be too focused on the individual’s behavior and less likely to understand the psychology or intent behind the behaviors that drive the individual. It is the individual’s lack of empathy that makes it difficult for them to relate to others or to understand their own experiences and feelings, and makes them more psychologically unstable. 3. No regrets about decisions The mentalization of the mother is very important, and the parent-child relationship is the basis for the full experience of the individual later in life, organizing and regulating the different emotional and experiential states. A good parent-child relationship helps to promote individual mentalization. This is because secure attachment provides a safe base that can provide a platform for children to explore the external world and internal mental internships. Impaired mentalization is usually also impaired by the destruction of the secure base in the attachment relationship. 4, How many decisions have you resolved to make at this moment Mentalization is formally divided into two types: externals and internals. Episodic is conscious, deliberate, reflective, and is semantic memory. The dominant implicit mentalization, on the other hand, is procedural memory, automatic unreflective, and intuitive. In terms of content, there is a division between self-mentalization and other-mindfulness.
