Is the hemiphasic rejection serious?

Hemiphasic generally refers to half-phase grafts, which may have more severe rejection. 1. Rejection occurs mainly after hemi-compatible transplantation. Because of the large difference in genetic background and hemizygous HLA mating, the chance of rejection is also higher and the degree of severity is more serious, so hemizygous rejection is more serious. 2. Hemizygous rejection is caused by implanted allogeneic immune cells or blood cells. Theoretically, the more severe the rejection reaction is, the lower the recurrence rate of treated malignant tumors. Hemiphasic rejection can last for more than ten years. 3. When hemi-compatible rejection reaction occurs, patients may have diarrhea, persistent anorexia, liver function abnormality, skin erythema and other symptoms, patients can take cyclosporine, tacrolimus and other medications under the guidance of doctors, if oral medications can not alleviate the symptoms, then need to be administered intravenously. Patients should actively follow the doctor’s instructions for treatment when hemiphasic rejection occurs.
