Symptoms of Knee Dystocia

Patients with knee dystocia may exhibit the following symptoms: 1. First, there will be a change in the shape of the knee joint. For example, when the patient straightens the lower extremity, if the patient exerts a little force, it is obvious that the knee joint has excessive extension, that is, it bulges backwards. 2. There may be a feeling of joint instability. Patients may feel instability in the knee joint when doing strenuous activities. 3. There may be pain in the knee joint. This type of patient may experience pain in the knee joint due to ligamentous laxity in the knee joint, which may result in abnormal activities inside the joint, causing damage to the joint over time. 4. There may be fluid accumulation inside the knee joint. This type of patient will have chronic internal joint damage, which over time will lead to aseptic inflammation of the joint, and then to joint effusion. In this case, the joint space of the knee joint is often full, and there is a fluctuating sensation when pressure is applied to the joint.
