Golden Cherry Seed, has the effect of fixing semen and shrinking urine (consolidating semen and urine, preventing random leakage) stopping leucorrhoea, astringent intestines and stopping diarrhea (relieving diarrhea by enhancing the intestinal astringent function). It is mainly used for the treatment of seminal emission and slippery semen, urinary emission and frequent urination, and bandhida. Golden Cherry Seed, sour, astringent and flat in nature; belongs to the kidney, bladder and large intestine meridians. Clinically, gold cherry is mainly used for the treatment of spermatorrhea, dysmenorrhea, dysuria, diarrhea, leakage (excessive menstrual flow or dripping), prolapse of the anus, uterine prolapse and so on. Those with solid fire or evil heat should be cautious in taking Jinchuuzi. Note that the efficacy of single herb is limited, clinically it needs to be used in combination with other herbs after identification by a Chinese medicine practitioner.
