What’s going on with the dark area inside the cervix?

Dark area in the cervix may be cervical natriuretic cyst, inflammation, pregnancy, tumor and other conditions, which need to be analyzed specifically. 1. Cervical natriuretic cysts: cysts formed when the glandular ducts of cervical glands are blocked, resulting in the inability to discharge cystic fluid, which is manifested as a liquid dark area under ultrasound. 2. Inflammation: If there is inflammation in the cervix, the inflammation will usually have exudate, which will cause the cervix to show a dark area when the examination is performed. 3. Pregnancy: If pregnancy occurs in the cervix, it may show up as a dark area on examination due to the presence of a gestational sac. 4. Tumor: If a tumor exists in the cervix, it is prone to hemorrhage and necrosis, resulting in a dark area on imaging. If there is a dark area in the cervix, it is recommended to go to the hospital in time, to clarify whether there is a pathological factor, and take reasonable methods of treatment under the guidance of the doctor, so as to promote the alleviation of the condition.
