There are three types of granulocytes: neutrophils, eosinophils and basophils. The normal percentage of neutrophils is 50-70%, eosinophils 0.5%-5% and basophils 0-1%. 1. Neutrophils: The normal percentage is 50-70%. Elevation is common in acute infections, poisoning, hematologic diseases or acute tissue injury, etc. Decrease can be seen in gram-negative bacterial infections, physical and chemical damage, etc. 2. Eosinophil: the normal percentage is 0.5%-5%. Elevated eosinophils are common in allergic diseases such as urticaria and food allergy; decreased eosinophils can be seen in typhoid fever, surgery and other stressful conditions. 3. Basophils: the normal percentage is 0-1%. Elevation is common in allergic diseases such as enteritis, etc. Some malignant tumors may also increase basophils; reduction is usually of no clinical significance. If the percentage of granulocytes is abnormal, it is recommended to consult a doctor for further examination and treatment.
