Torn medial collateral ligament of the knee anterior cruciate ligament injury treated conservatively for 3 months the knee is still bent not much exercise

The medial collateral ligament of the knee is torn and the anterior cruciate ligament injury is treated conservatively for 3 months and the knee still can’t bend. This is mainly due to the long time immobilization after the injury or long time restriction of activities because of pain, which leads to adhesion of muscles and ligaments. Active knee flexion and extension can be used for exercise.
1. Prone knee flexion: patients take the prone position, alternately bending the knee to the top of both legs, 20 times a group, 3-5 groups a day.
2. Bung training: patients take the side lying position, bend the knee, feet close, above the knee lift to do open and close the movement, alternately. 20 times a group, 3 ~ 5 groups a day.
3. Squatting against the wall: the patient’s back against the wall, slowly squatting, thighs and calves at a 90-degree angle slowly stand up. 15 seconds for a time, 5 times for a group, 3 to 5 times a day.
4. Crab Walking: The patient takes the standing position, slowly squats to the thigh and calf at an angle of 120 degrees or so, and maintains this position alternately to both sides of the stride. Back and forth is counted once, 5 times is counted as a group, 2~3 groups a day.
Knee ligament injury should be carried out as soon as possible after the functional recovery training, training can be iced to reduce edema and pain. It is recommended to carry out rehabilitation training under the guidance of a doctor.
