Congenital cardiomyopathy is a type of cardiomyopathy, which is a condition in which irreversible damage to the heart muscle is found at birth. Congenital cardiomyopathy can be caused by genetic factors, local environmental pollution, or maternal exposure to radioactive substances during pregnancy. Once congenital cardiomyopathy is diagnosed, only conservative treatment can prolong the patient’s life. The most fundamental cure for congenital cardiomyopathy is heart transplantation, but this technology is not mature in China, so the main focus is on conservative treatment with drugs. In the choice of drugs, there are digoxin, sildiran, spironolactone, hydrochlorothiazide, sodium fructose phosphate, coenzyme Q10 and so on, all of which can improve the symptoms of heart failure in congenital cardiomyopathy.
