Symptoms of Tendonitis

Plantar tendonitis, also known as plantar fasciitis, the main symptom is soreness and distension in the projection area of the plantar tendon membrane on the surface of the foot, which is mainly caused by prolonged weight-bearing walking, such as frequent walking up and down the stairs, long-distance running, mountaineering, and hiking, which can increase the tension of the plantar tendon membrane, and cause plantar fasciitis. The patient mainly manifests pain in the plantar core of the foot, as well as pain in the heel area, which is significantly aggravated when walking and can be relieved after rest. Another typical symptom of plantar fasciitis is that the pain is most severe in the first step of walking in the morning, and can be relieved after walking for some time. Patients with plantar fasciitis, must rest completely, avoid sports for about two weeks, while giving local hot compresses and conventional non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs for symptomatic treatment.
