Hemiplegic shoulder subluxation is reversible. Treatment includes reset, immobilization and rehabilitation exercises.
If the shoulder joint capsule becomes subluxated after hemiplegia, the shoulder joint should be repositioned by manipulation in time, and after successful repositioning, it can be recovered by bandage immobilization and effective muscle exercise.
For unsuccessful manipulation and habitual shoulder subluxation, surgical methods such as joint capsule tightening should be carried out to reset the capsule and strengthen the muscle power and muscle strength training of the shoulder muscles so as to avoid re-dislocation of the shoulder joint. After the operation, functional exercises for the shoulder, wrist and fingers should be carried out strictly under the guidance of the doctor so as to avoid muscle atrophy.
After effective treatment, immobilization and rehabilitation exercises, hemiplegic shoulder subluxation can be restored to normal. It should be noted that rotator cuff or glenoid labrum injury should be excluded from habitual shoulder subluxation, and it is recommended to improve the examination and standardize the treatment under the guidance of doctor in time.
