Feeling stuffed in the teeth but not there is a possible sensory abnormality seen in organic brain diseases (e.g., cerebral infarction, traumatic brain injury, brain tumor, etc.), but also in schizophrenia, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and somatization disorder. Visceral delusions are seen in patients with schizophrenia, such as feeling that their stomach is missing, claiming that their blood is not flowing, etc. Patients with OCD always think about something over and over again or worry and fear something, knowing it is unnecessary, but they just can’t help thinking about it. Patients with somatization disorder have diverse and recurrent symptoms of somatic discomfort. The cause cannot be found after somatic examination or does not match the disease found, but the patient does not believe the test results and diagnosis and repeatedly seeks medical attention.
