The top of the head feels like something is pressing on it

The disorder under consideration is tension-type headache when the top of the head feels like something is pressing against it. Tension-type headaches tend to occur in young people, with the peak age of onset being around 30 years old. It manifests as bilateral discomfort in the head, such as a feeling of pressure or tightness in the back of the occiput, or around the temples bilaterally, or on the top of the head, and some patients may describe it as a feeling of wearing a tight band, or a hat. Anger, fire, mental tension, irregular diet, lack of exercise, lack of sleep, and work stress can all contribute to the aggravation of the condition and are all triggers of the disease. Treatment can consider physical therapy, such as acupuncture, physical therapy, etc. Frequent combing of the scalp with a wooden comb will also reduce the discomfort.
