Non-specific st-t abnormalities are ECG findings that indicate ischemia during repolarization of the heart. There is a possibility of functional st-t abnormalities, as well as the possibility of suffering from coronary artery disease, myocardial ischemia, myocardial infarction, and other diseases.
1. Functional st-t abnormality: for people who only have non-specific st-t abnormality, without other uncomfortable symptoms, and without high risk factors, it is mostly considered to be functional st-t abnormality, which is related to emotion, exercise, and so on.
2. Angina pectoris: angina pectoris is caused by narrowing or occlusion of the coronary artery lumen, and the typical symptoms of the patients are chest pain, chest tightness, etc. In the ECG examination, non-specific st-t abnormalities may appear.
3. Myocardial ischemia: patients with myocardial ischemia may also have non-specific st-t, which is caused by coronary artery stenosis, insufficient myocardial blood supply and oxygenation, and patients may have symptoms such as discomfort and pain in the anterior region of the heart.
4. Myocardial infarction: myocardial infarction is mainly caused by coronary artery obstruction and insufficient blood supply, and patients will experience symptoms such as squeezing pain in the anterior region of the heart and a sense of suffocation, and because of ischemia in the heart of the patient, the change of non-specific st-t will also occur.
For patients with non-specific st-t abnormalities, further examination is recommended to clarify the diagnosis.
