Atrophic gastritis with enterocolitis usually does not have the symptom of obvious wasting, but if there is obvious wasting, it should be considered that it is caused by gastric cancer. Atrophic gastritis with enterocolitis belongs to precancerous lesions and has the risk of cancer. There is no obvious wasting phenomenon in early stage of cancer, but progressive wasting phenomenon can be seen in middle and late stage of cancer, because gastric cancer is a kind of consumptive disease, so if there is obvious wasting phenomenon, the patient should highly prevent the occurrence of gastric cancer. Patients can be further judged by gastroscopy and pathological biopsy. If the presence of cancer cells is confirmed by pathological biopsy, it can be diagnosed as cancer, and such patients should be treated by surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy in time.
